If anyone can sell vegetables to a company called “Beef & Liberty”, I can. And I did! Leaves & Liberty is the successful new plant-based off-shoot of gourmet burger restaurant chain, Beef & Liberty in Hong Kong. What started off as a playful (but very meaningful) pun on the brand’s name to promote their Green Mondays veggie menu, has now become it’s own stand-alone restaurant in a city whose health-food scene is quickly evolving. During my time at Beef & Liberty, I pitched this idea to our Managing Director, looked after the new logo development with our graphic designer and promoted the launch of our veggie food truck (our test concept) at Clockenflap, Hong Kong’s largest international music festival. As an advocate of more conscious eating, hands down this is one of my proudest career moments.
