Nando’s is an international food chain that originated in South Africa in 1987. It has over 1,000 restaurants in 35 countries, with the UK and Australia being one of the largest markets. During my agency days, Nando’s Australia were one of my other key accounts, alongside The BodyHoliday in St Lucia. Between the two of them, my days were sure busy managing not just the time zones but the polar opposite scopes each client had. While The BodyHoliday was fairly new to the digital marketing game, Nando’s were known to be on fire. While The BodyHoliday was more about setting the groundwork and training, Nando’s was about keeping up with their very busy marketing initiatives. Of course, I was once again in charge of keeping the client relationship sweet during their new website revamp, as well as delivering campaign landing pages, franchise websites, intranet, facebook apps, mobile apps and online competitions. This was a really great account to work on.
